Air Pressure Recommendations
I will be getting my bracket ride to the the track in the next month or so and would like ideas on what pressure to run in my slicks.

Running a Hoosier 28x10.5x15 D07 on an 8" wide wheel (couldn't fit a 10" wheel). Car is about 3000#, PG, Trans Brake 1.80 1st, 4.30 rear. Mild motor probably 550-600HP on a good day.

Thoughts?

I was going to say 11-11.5, which worked for me on a nearly identical setup, but my wheels were 10" wide with 10.5's. After re-reading your post, with a wheel width 2-2.5" narrower than the tire, it will take a lower pressure to achieve the right footprint. So I will say X2 to Vetmans recommended 10.5 PSI for a starting point. (If it was an 8 inch slick on a 10 inch wheel, I'd go 12.5).
