New bullet aluminum tall deck SBC Dry sump. Pump will not fit standard location on the new altered. I have seen old school blowers mounted direct drive to front of crankshaft. Wondering if anyone makes a bracket to mount dry sump pump to front of crank direct drive similar to that? If so that may eliminate much of the problems and make it easier to work on.

Any front direct drive dry sump pump mounts?

If nobody on here has done it I would call Neil and Parks. If it can be done they have probably done it or can machine it up for you.

Another possibility is to run the dry sump pump off the cam and move fuel pump back down. I bet someone makes what I need just have to find it.

Can not run it direct drive off crank would spin too fast. Maybe off the cam? Not a lot of good options here.......

Depending on the design of the pump bracket, Peterson has a "dragster" bracket that moves the pump down and in to clear tight rails. My Moroso pump bracket did the same thing so I took a chunk of aluminum plate and made my own.

Okay, here is where I am at on this. They make a cam cover and pump that will run off the cam. Great. Well hold on as I looked into it further they said I can not run the Jesel belt drive or harmonic balancer. Really not wanting to give those up. Will continue to look for options.

Put a std pump and oil pan on it. Eliminate the extra weight and hassle. You race on a 1/8th mile index, not like you need the extra HP like a comp eliminator car would need anyways.

Dry sump is the best oiling system you can use, hp is inconsequential.
They make mounts to mount a mag, you can mount a pump if you have fabrication skills, and select a belt that will work in the range you want. Pump can be mounted backwards it just changes the in/out ports. stand offs off the water pump bolt holes for starters, where ther is a will there is a way.
Look at Peterson fluid systems, they offer a sbc rear engine drag pump that sounds like it is tucked in. Also they offer a multitude of mouts and adaptors that you may be able to use. Take some pictures and contact them, they may be able to design something or already have something.

This block can not be ran with a wet sump or I would have done it for sure. In fact I would prefer wet sump.

As for the extra horsepower a dry sump motor makes I think it is next to nothing between a wet sump WITH vacuum pump and dry sump.

I found the pic. Gonna have to upload it to get it on here. I'll do that later today. Not the best and you have to zoom in but at least you can mostly see it. I have better ones on my other computer but it's in storage.
