Mystery solved, LOL
The past few years every time I've been under my car I've wondered how long will it be before I rotate an axle tube in the 12-bolt housing....

I found out 4th round yesterday, driver side tube rotated on the hit, made the car drive funky, and made lots of tire smoke before I got it pulled over and stopped.

Somewhere between 4500-5000 hits? LOL

BTW, yes, if you "neutral drop" (2000 or so RPM) it into reverse with the line lock engaged, it will rotate back. Laughing Hard

You're welcome, for the laughs and the information.

I was just glad, and proud of my old junker, that we didn't soil the racing surface. Just a minor delay to get it on the rollback.
That is one really nice thing about racing IRP, they do have the resources to make things like that quick and easy for the racer.

Easy fix, big pipe wrench, screw jack, and an angle gauge.
Twisted it back and welded both tubes. Cool
