Years ago I bought a set of AC Delco plugs for my '57 pick up at our local Chevy Dealership. While still half a sleep (That's my excuse), I tried to install them one plug would not go in, I worked on that for probably three minutes then discovered it had no threads. I guess that makes me as big an idiot as the guy who put the plug in the box.

Shyt happens!

This has been an interesting topic but in all honesty I have never had a piece of ARP hardware fail, not one. I have never heard them claim that they are perfect but the character of a Company rests on how they deal with a mistake and I have never heard of them failing in that category.

I prefer them.
However, it's funny to see people who claim that us quality is far superior to that of China. I don't like giving China any of my money either. But I don't have to make up other reasons not to. China has come a long way with quality, and Americans have slid a long way. And that is scary.

Speaking of steps needed to address quality with a low paid, low skilled work force, look at this video and count the process steps added to the work flow, to try and overcome issues with added process steps at the various stations. Some are truly amazing.

And yet at 3:55 the line honing machine had an issue and Chad has to hit the E-stop button. LOL
