My car will build up moisture in the valve covers just sitting in my building early and late in the year.
That is not a bad idea. I had 2 block heaters and oil heater for a while but did not use them very often and ended up not using them on later motors.
One of the keys to keeping oil fresh is getting hot at end of day to evaporate most of that moisture out. The block heaters when I used them helped a little on rare cold days for starting here in Texas.
One other thing I would do when it is cool is throw a blanket over the motor between rounds so it would not lose much heat.
I do not remember how much ET the vacuum pump helped it was not a whole lot. You got .04 and that sounds about right.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.
