Looking for input from some of you. I am changing out the old hex coupler and looking for something that has less slop. What have you used and how well has it held up?

Look at these. Reasonably priced and I love mine. No slop at all.

The chassis works looks decent. I just can't bring myself to buy a momo. How long have you used yours? Does the Spud weld over or inside the steering shaft tube?

You sure the slop is on the coupler? I had hope get sloppy where bolts went through u joints in steering shaft and I just rotated 90* and drilled new holes.

About 10 years and it has developed just a little movement.

It's a stub that welds inside the tube.

Wish I'd have seen this in January. I ordered one of the Grant's that utilize the actual splined shaft already in the car...but it's been back ordered since then...supposed to ship on the 25th of this month, but it's supposed to have shipped multiple times since I ordered it lol.
