I made a switch from gas to alcohol this weekend, all results look normal on the Racepack data. I want to make sure I don't have to make any parameter changes in the Racepack, using lambda scale, it all still looks normal.

You can use either scale, personal preference. It’s easy to change in the software.

Isn't Lambda the same always no matter what fuel you use though?

Curtis Reed, that is my understanding, I was just looking for confirmation, nothing has to change, Lambda does not care what fuel.

Here's a handy reference - basically, 0.81-0.82 lambda is a good power mixture ratio for any fuel.

I use the gas scale on my data loggers simply because when we dynoed my motors that is what scale we used. By the way my motors are on alcohol.

Does not matter what scale you use, most of the sensors read in 0-5 MV? and the chart is which ever setting you use on logger.

-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

Thanks for the comments, and Rick nice chart, I'll figure out how to copy and place in my logbook.
