Z68camaroBrodix heads
I'm buying some brodix bb-2 aluminum heads for a BBC. What are the chances they will bolt right up without any clearance issues with the valves and pistons? These will be new heads and will have the cnc work done on them. The pistons are dome top about 13.1.

1320raceryour guess is as good as anyone else. everything will have to be checked.
That said, the heads maybe "new" but they're 20 year old technology. The Brodix heads you want are the 3xtra/Headhunter.

Chris701B4 you buy any heads, you must consider the cubic inch of engine, lift of cam, piston volume, what rpm that cam makes power, and the car weight, for starters. Cubic inch will help with intake runner volume needed. I bought a set for 468 from brodix and had them angle milled, cnc chamber to 112, then they drilled the head bolt holes so they where correct with angle milling, used a wiseco piston with a small 740 lift cam and had no clearance problems, wiseco gives you plenty of valve room.
