Im bored and curious. For those of you running sr20 combo’s in a dragster, what you guys like guys like for a converter stall: drop back . Im Seeing 6800 off the brake and dropping back 600 on the shift.

not a whole lot of impressive 9 degrees unless they are part of a 655 and bigger package

The converter needs to match the entire combo, not just the heads. That said, you are likely very close at 6800. 600 fall back seams low. What do you shift at, 7600? Usually the fall back rpm is about 150 to 200 higher than the launch stall.

Mine is unique cause its injected on methanol which everyone said would never work. 615 dart 20's, runs within a couple hundo of similar iron block combos on gas with Brodix 20's. 4.60 @ 150 best ever @ 2000 lbs, last weekend in the south La heat/humidity 4.76 mid day, 4.72 9 hours later 2 AM in the finals. Flashes to 6200 shift at 7300 falls back to 6300. Would like to see mine flash to 65/6600 and fall back to 6700 range but too lazy to pull the converter out and send it off for a re-stall. Oh and thats on Goodyears.
