Are swing out door bars still legal? Just a slower bracket S10,couldn't find anything in the rulebook that said they weren't but a friend of mine thought they were.

My door car has 8.50 cert and has a swing out. Lots of us old racers need these to even get in a race car

I was told if the car does not have the original flooring that it is not legal and cannot be certified to go quicker that 10.0
Well after calling the divison office it turned out it is legal with my double aluminum floor being stronger than the original fiberglass lol added a a pillar extention an d away we went certed just fine here in div5

I was told the car needs to have a stock firewall, stock doors and stock floor, Maybe thats if it has to be certified for 9:99 and quicker. This message has been edited. Last edited by: JCDRAGS,
