well new valve body does have thicker valve where it protrudes into case about .100 thicker so that may be why more sever than most case's.hell I hate having same problem.Its just boring.LOL

Jerry since you have worked with JW cases.Any idea difference in weight when compared to Reid or ATI?

In pounds, no.
Just simply lifting it, not much if any.
