Has anybody ever done any testing with the adjustable hit on Reid trans case? Wondering if I can slow reaction times down any for a nobox race with it. Didn’t see any changes with my other car but it was a whole different animal.

I have tried it and could not tell any difference at all. Now I nobox race and also have a long throw transbrake button so there are other variables in it. Someone with a delay box may be able to give you more accurate information but I suspect it is similar little to no difference. https://postimg.cc/gallery/np3zpruo/ "Dunning-Kruger Effect" -a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. If you ever looked at the passage in the case that the bolt goes into I guarantee you if you turn it in far enough it will slow your release down. How much who knows, just one of those things you would have to play with.

I was going to turn it all the way in and make a couple passes still using the box to see if it’s worth anything but don’t know that I will make it to the track in next two weekends so that’s why I was asking.

I have had mine screwed all the way in and could not tell any difference. If it works for you I would certainly like to know. https://postimg.cc/gallery/np3zpruo/ "Dunning-Kruger Effect" -a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability.
