Has anybody ever done any testing with the adjustable hit on Reid trans case? Wondering if I can slow reaction times down any for a nobox race with it. Didn’t see any changes with my other car but it was a whole different animal.

I have tried it and could not tell any difference at all. Now I nobox race and also have a long throw transbrake button so there are other variables in it. Someone with a delay box may be able to give you more accurate information but I suspect it is similar little to no difference.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

If you ever looked at the passage in the case that the bolt goes into I guarantee you if you turn it in far enough it will slow your release down. How much who knows, just one of those things you would have to play with.

I was going to turn it all the way in and make a couple passes still using the box to see if it’s worth anything but don’t know that I will make it to the track in next two weekends so that’s why I was asking.

I have had mine screwed all the way in and could not tell any difference. If it works for you I would certainly like to know.
