3628Powerglide Front Pump
Got a reid front pump that needs machining in the gear well as well as the other side. I have a new one coming but want to keep this one for a spare

David CoveyI noticed no one has replied, so I will at least tell you what I would do.
Call either Reid or some of the other suppliers and see if they will re-machine it. I know FTI did a video a while back talking about installing taller gears in pumps.

329LThe BTE/TransSpecialties/FTI pump half will interchange, if they will sell you a pump half. The gears are considered "super oversized gears" How deep are the grooves in the bottom of stator tube bushing where the sealing rings ride? If it is, id throw it away and get another one.
