If you’re responding to me, since I mentioned pure antifreeze, I only drain the radiator before adding pure stuff. Once it mixes with the water in the block, I end up with a roughly 50/50 mix and I do test it. Tony Leonard

I have been afraid to open a thread with this title. Glad I took the chance. Foxtrot Juliet Bravo

I like this Idea as the RV antifreeze is biodegradable and you can just dump it on the ground. I would worry about not circulating it through the block though...

Put anti freeze in as it helps with all the seals and hoses throughout the winter, drain a little out of the radiator and then just top off with anti-freeze Keeping the Socialists and NEO-LIBERALS at bay with FACTS one post at a time !!! Check the RV antifreeze, if I remember correctly they use alcohol in it which is rough on rubber like water pump seals. Those old enough remember when antifreeze was referred to as checking the alcohol in the radiator.

Eman, There must be something in the RV antifreeze that doesn’t hurt the seals since most RVs have 12 volt water pumps with rubber seals. I’ve been using it in my LQ trailer for years and no problems. Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right. Here I am.......

Ethanol based RV antifreeze can be bad on seals. Not all pink antifreeze is created equal. Get the lower temp stuff in case there is water still in your system.
