Not with that piston but I have a dual bar wilson plate.
42/42 on the NOS
42/42 on the fuel @ 7psi

Same tune for the C-16 only at 6.5psi
I knock out 6 degrees with base timing at 27.
Turning on a .1 and spraying to the 18th I pick up .3 and 7mph

Had a conversation this weekend...was told not to run nitrous and q16. Only c16, and once you got about 300 shot go to c23. I am not a nitrous guy just curious on your thoughts.

you can run nitrous with q16 and that piston works well but they don't recommend a large hit 125 to 200 range on q16 works well.i did it no issues for 3 years.
only problem I had was the q16 really eats away at the fuel nozzles if you let the q16 sit in there for long periods.

Great pistons. On mine when i talked to Vic on the
piston with the 1.120 CH. asked him whats the max on the hose. If i remember correctly, he stated 175 with the 180's. Now this is the 1st design. 2nd design Q16 piston. Much heavy duty piston for the hose. That K477B100 have a 1.060? Just curious..

I run C16 when spraying Q16 eats at the jets. Take timing out and check plugs. Most kits are setup rich. Dave Koehler at https://www.koehlerinjection.com. has a software program that helps with HP/fuel and timing setups. Run it on a timer to help control the hit if you can. The HP range you are shooting for is a mild setup. I would be more worried about compress ratio , cylinder pressures and fuel ratios than HP.

I'm not 100% sure what pistons are in my engine, but I have a 598" SR-20 15.25:1 on q16 with an induction solutions guardian plate. Have sprayed a 200 hit on at .6 and out back door (1/8th mile) and haven't had an issue.

First off let me clear something up. I do not run q16 fuel, I am using this quick16 piston in my 582 that i run on vp112. I have talked to Vic at their tech line and he agrees that they will hold up to a 200 shot with a good tune. I only plan on using about a 150 shot. I am only asking because some independent source think the piston is to thin in the valve pockets for nitrous use. Im not exactly new to nitrous, i have been using he same size hit on my previous 522 for some heads up stuff. I have been using this chart with great luck....

One of the common questions we get is what jet is "X" horesepower ?? We most commonly use the nitrous jet to set the systems HP. Here are some common numbers that will get you in the ball park for these systems.

100+ HP .047 to .052 nitrous jet with a .010 to .012 smaller fuel jet
150+ HP .062 to .066 nitrous jet with a .012 to .014 smaller fuel jet
200+ HP .074 to .078 nitrous jet with a .013 to .015 smaller fuel jet
250+ HP .085 to .089 nitrous jet with a .015 to .018 smaller fuel jet
300+ HP .098 to .102 nitrous jet with a .020 to .024 smaller fuel jet
350+ HP .116 to .120 nitrous jet with a .022 to .026 smaller fuel jet

On average these tunes even starting at 6.5 PSI FLOWING if properly timed are good starting points. We also ALWAYS flow through the same .073 fuel jet. Here's a little read that can also help you better understand why..

I had Quick 16 Wiseco’s in my dragster motor. Sprayed 350 shot in high gear a bunch. No problems, even on Avgas.
