Larry WoodfinSuspension rod end seals [ref rod end maintence post]
So this does not get lost in the other thread.
"Seals It" rod end seals are a good product and a good way to protect rod ends from dirt and retain lube. The only downside is that they must be incorporated into the build in some situations. They are thin washers with a "tie rod" type boot bonded to them. An example is when using them on the forward mounts of a four-link or ladder bar, the brackets must be built to accommodate the extra width. [The 3/4" seals are bonded to a washer that is .080 thick; thus, the brackets must be built 160" wider]
In other cases where the component is bolted, there will be enough room to accommodate them.
