And I thought low track lighting should fall under track owners responsibility. Am I missing something.

I am well off but I don't have, nor want, everything....Why would he be jealous of me?

And I'm certain he's not jealous of a pudgy little midget like you....Hell, at least he drives his own racecar and didn't have to adopt a kid to do it for him...

Back to the headlight topic.

I installed only one of the LED headlights, (the package came with two) one is MORE than bright enough.

Steve:

I am a one eyed something or other, mostly blind on the left bank thanks to the Vegas wall. Two of them might melt something or vaporize someone, that single light is ridiculously bright. The light pattern goes outbound for at least 100 feet. At 15 - 20 mph you would never outrun the light.

Dave:

1600 lumens (each), miss read the info, 2 lamps - 24 watts, 6000K color temp, very bright. I want to keep the spare in case the one I mounted goes AWOL. They were less than $25.00 including the shipping, they got here in two days.

Wouldn't it be nice if all the return roads were well lit up and perfect pits with no pot holes?

Until then I will run lights on my car for when I need them.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

I’m no electrical engineer, but that isn’t correct for a 12 volt DC LED.

That might be lumens.

I researched just about every small LED lamp assembly on the market and these seemed to be the most practical. Small, compact, mounting brackets included, super bright with a great light spread. The cost wasn't a factor in my decision.

Finding a place to mount both of them was a challenge because of the front nose piece, that plus the steering rod prevented me from mounting one on the drivers side. I could have placed them on top of the fenders but it would have looked like one of our old farm tractors, that wasn't happening.
