Looks like it's the new Kendall GT-1.

I just bought a case of PennGrade.

It'll be Driven next go around, I got tricked looks like.

I have a case of old Brad Penn bottled Pensylvania crude oil I mixed 50/50 with new PennGrade, so that's a plus.

The new PennGrade it appears, is a counterfeit Kendall GT-1 (green oil), with very little Pennsylvania crude base.

Been using it for a while now. I switched over from Lucas Race only to this after my engine builder suggested it.

I read and read, I can't say for certain PennGrade isn't the new Brad Penn, or in other words Kendall GT-1.

PennGrade have a big write-up with a independent study on the net, claiming it is.

It's in writing all over the net, they claim the only change is to the logo and shape of plastic bottle.

Every engine builder has their favorite but it doesn't matter who's name is on the bottle and there's a new name or favorite amongst racers every few years. Oil is oil, the only choice you need to make is dinosaur or synthetic and weight.

Brad Penn/Penn Grade has always served me well.

That being said there are a lot of good oils out there, pick your poison........

I just bought a case of the Driven GP-1. I'm interested to see the outcome between the VR-1 I'll be draining out later in the week vs the driven oil. I run Alky, and Driven claims it doesn't milk as much as other oils. We shall see!!

The name on the bottle ain’t going to stop you milking the oil, only correct jetting fixes that.

I had always used Brad Penn/Penn grade, but tried the L brand, with no other changes the L brand did milk much more than the BP.

But if the idle mixture is fat you will see lots of milking no matter the oil in the pan......

Run the 15-40 non synthetic in my 582 and really like the oil, milking is just not running the motor hot enough typically in an alky engine. I have been a VR1 user for a long time but always preferred the Brad Penn; my understanding is that the Driven is the old Brad Penn formula.
