I made the switch from radials to slicks. Very early in the tuning process. In addition to onboard data logging, I would like to paint the white stripe on the sidewall to make tire spin more visible for when we video runs.

what do people use to mark the tire sidewall?

Shoe polish or a paint marker?

thank you

Shoe polish.
A thin line all the way around the tread edge can be useful for video review too. Wink

As said shoe polish and a buddy told me out the thin outline around edge years ago and said he would do so they could see if the slicks were trying to wrap up like driving over the self’s said was a good way to tell if they needed to run more air pressure
