I’m looking at getting an aftermarket case. Any known issues with the BTE case ?

You have to put in the effort, to get anything out of it.

No sir, not that I've heard or seen.

I bought one several years ago during their Black Friday sale and received it around 5 months later, went to start putting it together and the shifter lever guide holes within the case did not line up so it would not seat all the way and the band adjustment holes within the case did not line up either so the pin wouldn't go through. Both would've required a significant amount of adjustment to fix so we sent the case back and received a replacement. When the replacement arrived those two issues were resolved but then we discovered the spring on the parking paw wouldn't stay on the post inside the case after a couple cycles. Sent that case back and went with Reid. We've probably just had bad luck (including a billet valvebody that didn't have the servo feed hole drilled in it), but plenty of people do run their stuff with no issue.

I bought one about 5 years ago.
No issues, nice case. At the time they didn't have a bell housing for a mopar, they sold one made by Reid.
I'd buy again.

I've been running one for 3-4yrs and no complaints. I had an issue with park not holding and a year and half after I bought it the sent me all the parts to re-do it free of charge. They were also willing to pay shipping both ways if I didn't want to change it myself. My tb solenoid started acting funny (2 years old) and the sent me a new one free. Ended up a wiring issue and they told me to keep it as a spare. This was a complete trans from them and not just a case but my point is customer service has been excellent.
