Anyone have a two step go bad , what does it do before it quits????

One of mine did nothing you'd notice until the motor revved over the chip rpm. I had one chip that would breakup rather than shutdown smoothly.

I had issues last year that I am pretty sure turned out to be the plug being loose in MSD box. I notice two step plug hanging part way out after year motor rpms jumping all over on launch. I sent mine back and had it checked and plug replaced but haven’t run it yet.
