I have a set of lifters I would like to remove from the tie bar. The lifter is held to the tie bar with what looks to be a torx head screw in a rivet nut. I'm guessing they're loctited or similar. I tried to turn without heat and no go. Will try heat next. Anybody ever done this and have tips on removing and reassembling?

Don't be hesitant to call the OEM mfg., you don't want to turn this into a "failure analysis".

Not sure what brand although I do know the pedigree. They are offset intake lifters with relatively low runs. I have a set of PBM/Morels but found one broke during assembly. Wanting to take two offset sets and make one non-offset to replace the broken morel.
