Why the smallest tires? I can't think of why that would be a competitive advantage?

I did try a tighter converter, and it did kill significant ET, with minor reduction in MPH. But in my case, (heavy door car), it also hurt my R/T. Had to push the 2-step up about 400 RPM, (may not sound like much, but it sure made the launch a lot more violent and 60' less consistent). Probably could have played with the shocks some to tame it down, I just didn't have test time to do that.

If you have the smallest tire in the class, nobody can rationally make the claim, you didn't adhere to the principle of fair play.

If you're smart enough to use everyone else's consistency as your own, you already have enough of an advantage, in conjunction with the most power in the class n/a.

Fair play is good for the soul. What's good for the soul, is good for the head - confidence.

Tight converter would work for banjo 7.00 on a 500 pro tree, to get him behind or even, early in the race.

But as mentioned, will kill R/T capability 400 Pro tree.

Plus if you wanna build a duel purpose Super Pro / Index car as I was in the process, a tight converter won't get her done Super Pro, for consistency.

Moroso sells a bolt stop. Once you get used to it they are easy to adjust and accurate once you figure out how many turns equals what on the track. Look on Summit Racing. PArt # 65042, only 36.99, cheap way to slow it down and go have fun. (keep in mind doing it like this it swamps the mile an hour) but it will be consistant. bolts right to the carb base
