Trailer roof sealer?
What does everybody use to reseal the roof seam around the O.D. of the trailer? I was just up on top of my trailer, cutting the neighbor's branches down, so they don't rub on my trailer. Noticed there's virtually no sealer left at all. I can't believe it hasn't leaked. And we actually got a good amount of rain out here a couple of weeks ago. First time in years. lol

Dicor roof sealant

Two kinds, both white.

Self leveling, flows out

Non leveling, stays where you put it

Stickiest stuff there is

Wear gloves, keep rags handy.

Comes in regular caulk gun tubes

RV places sell it or online, Amazon

Kenny Anderson told me to use it years ago and I still do to this day.

I use Manus Bond For all the Semi trailer roof repairs.Goes on with a paint brush. Do not let it run down the sides of the trailer. Self filling, Self Leveling. Must wear gloves. It is industrial strength roof sealant. Comes in a one gallon container also.

Any educated guess how many chalking gun tubes it would take to do about 4" wide strip all the way around the roof edge on a 28' trailer?

I used Manus Bond. Seemed to work great, no leaks. I bought it from Amazon but they are showing it’s not available right now.

If the seams open you won't see the leaks as it runs down the inside of the walls. Crawl under the trailer and look at the edges from underneath. The water will rot out the edges of the floor and rust out the frame that holds the floor.
Whatever you do don't use silicon. After cleaning and sealing you can cover with Eternabond or Peel & Seal tape.

Make sure you don't leave the M off when you do your search? LOL Probably won't bring up the results you are looking for.
