I happened to walk by my new lithium battery sitting on the shelf at 3am....is it supposed to glow?

Dead OnLithium batteries require "computer circuitry" as it were to charge and monitor the battery. I would suspect its small LEDs on the circuit board. Or yea it's Alien's. If you feel its Alien's might I suggest a 12 guage or a .45 cal., and double tap!!
