I saw this before. It was stated they build the cars like that in Europe because the roads are smaller and tighter and cannot handle the larger trailers we are use to.

From what I got told in the UK they are limited on trailer length without having a "commercial" license. So they do this to use shorter trailers.

Nothing new, that is a normal thing in the UK because they are limited with their trailer and truck sizes etc. They actually had a guy in Florida who was running one of these cars. You would never know it unless he told you or body panels were off and you inspected it well.

Saw him at gainesville once several years ago, wildest thing i had ever seen at the time, took him a little while to get unloaded/loaded but it was interesting to watch.
