So what is the best choice of tire for a low 9 to mid 8s door car for consistency. 3000± pounds.

Let's hear choices and air pressure recommendations. Slips, logs, preferable.

The biggest that will fit. I like the MT 3084S 33x16x15 on my 3600lb high 6 sec pickup truck. 9-10 psi, foot brake leaving at 2800rpm, but still experimenting for best approach to print 60’ slips. No tubes with 32 rim screws in each wheel...

Biggest tire you can put on it, the MT 3084S is a very good tire for a door car. Would like to understand what ET, HP, gearing, trans gear, etc. to be able to provide a true recommendation.

Guys, is there a set definition of what defines the term "big tire", plz? Over 10.5" wide or so?

Lol, if I act like a dummy, I learn more....

Big tire definition...does not fit in stock wheel wells, requires back half/narrowed rear housing/tubs.

My Monte is 3200 with me in it...I run the MT 3084S tires..I have rim screws, 5 in and 5 out with no tubes...I put 12.1 lbs. in them to race...I ran Hoosiers for years but found the MT's to be a bit more consistent on my junk...mine is a slow pump gas bracket car going 6.50's @ 103 with a 1.40 short time...

32x16x15 on my car. Love to have a 33 or 34 tall but they won't fit. After the back half, there was more than enough room to go wider so I went from a 14 to a 16 wide and still have more room.
