Why can I not find any good solderless connectors anymore. I used Philmore brand for years and loved them but it seams they no longer make them. What's a good source guys?

Regan, Grainer has the 3M Highland brand, which is a good-quality product. Also, https://www.waytekwire.com/ has products of the same quality.

NOTE: These are non-insulated terminals, which I like. Depending on the situation, I use them bare, without insulation, or with heat shrink tubing. I do not use or like the parts store terminals with plastic sleeves.

I use del city for my non insulated terminals as well as my 10ga and smaller wire. They have free shipping over $50

Thanks for the reply guys. I also don't like insulated connectors with the exception of quick connects and females for relays and such.

These are the folks I used, back in the day....they had a local sales staff and mini distribution center.
Not sure now, and I am due to restock some stuff.

I thought you were asking about brand. We only use Thomas&Betts to make our products.

Larry, I run the production shop for a company called W L Walker. We make anything to test, sample or measure oil. The connectors are used in our centrifuges, preheaters and such. This is one of our 12v centrifuges to use on trucks for oil sample testing. I designed and built the first one of these sheet metal versions in 1990.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

WAYTEK wire is where I get my wire and connectors from. if you are looking for the connectors with heat shrink on them, I like the Molex brand
