Used Zuma is 2k atleast. Picked up new kymco agility 125 for $1500 last week. Two year warranty, large company and parts are available. If you go chinese anything with the GY6 engine is what I would look for. You can buy 3 kymcos for the price of one zuma.

I definitely understand that a Yamaha Zuma would be the way to go, just not wanting to spend a k on something used. Don't have to have the best name brand pit bike. I have a Yamaha razz 1993 model and has been great but it's seen too many birthdays and not enough presents lol. Just looking for something newer with more power. Jack's Race Shop apdracing.com

Dirtdobber and I got lucky. Several years ago a guy sold us a 125 with 200 miles on it for 1800 bucks and I bought a new (used) 50cc Zuma for 1500 bucks. It had 105 miles on it. I realize those deals don’t come along every day. Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right. Here I am.......

Just a quick search on Facebook marketplace I see Zumas from 699 to 2500. Craigslist pretty much mirrors that price range. Import scooters also get cheaper as soon as colleges dismiss. ____________________________ 2017 and 2018 Osage Casinos Tulsa Raceway Park No-Box Champion 2018 Div4 Goodguys Hammer award winner

It's a 1/4 mile from one end of a drag strip to the other. A 3-minute walk for any able-bodied person, even if horribly out of shape. But everybody gotta have a golf cart, a four-wheeler, or a scooter. LMAO Mike

Our races are usually 2 race single day. I was there 13 hours last race and I like to socialize during the day. That is a lot of walking even if you are in shape. But everyone is entitled to their opinion. I sometimes take my bicycle and use it. ____________________________ 2017 and 2018 Osage Casinos Tulsa Raceway Park No-Box Champion 2018 Div4 Goodguys Hammer award winner

Everybody should do what they want and buy what they want. It's just kinda funny to me how much of the money spent on racing has nothing to do with the actual race car Mike

I gots a 2003 Honda Elite I bought off fleabay for 700 clams. Works fine, carries two fat azzes with ease. Was built in mehico so I checked all the voids for product. I just didn't feel comfortable buying a Kymchee 50 or anything like that. Find a used Honda. nomad Bruce Guertin Easily distracted by bright shiny objects. Wife says I'm a new adventure every day. I understand your thinking, although I have a Honda Elite I used a 10 speed bicycle for years. I like to travel light, I find it rather funny these guys take all kinds of stuff to the track and spent half the day setting up and then have to tear it all down at the end of the day. Then they have a huge generator that is noisy as all get out, to run all the junk they take to the track. Their trailer is stacked full and the stuff is so tight it can only go in one way. I have a small Champion 2000 generator that is extremely quiet and my air compressor is a small lightweight Harbor freight one that I paid like $35 for. Someday it will fail, I have had it for about 5 years and it can not last forever. Someday I may have to pop out another $35. Point is sometimes heavy duty and expensive is not the best option for everyone and pit bikes is in that category for me. When I go to the track I want to relax and have fun. https://postimg.cc/gallery/np3zpruo/ "Dunning-Kruger Effect" -a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. You would be suprised what you can get for free sometimes! I have a generator and an air compressor that were free that I have less than $10 into both of them and they work flawlessly. Generator even had a full tank of gas when I got it. I figured they were worth taking for free even if I just scrapped them. This message has been edited. Last edited by: green1,

I started out with a 10 speed at the track, then went to a Baja 90 mini-bike which worked great getting me and my wife around the track. We decided to upgrade to a Arctic Cat 450. Having the 4 wheeler allows us to use it also when we are not at the track.
