davidsracing1998.5 Ram 3500 5.9L diesel ball joints
My 2WD truck needs some new ball joints and looking for opinions on quality parts. I have had this truck for 25 years and plan on keeping it so I want to get good parts. Any suggestions or personal experiences good or bad would be appreciated.
Thanks, David

Canted ValveI'll second Moog. They have zerks of course. My joints weren't really worn out, the flimsy rubber boots tore and was allowing FOD.The moog boots are much more heavy duty.

This is gonna sound crazy, but have you investigated having these ball joints replaced under warranty? I know, that is a heck of a long time ago, but it is a safety issue. Some of those have no time limit, and those particular ball joints are infamous for this one. I had mine replaced for no charge after ten years and I wasn't even the original owner. Take care. TD3550Get the c clamp tool kit for the dodge. Can probably rent it. I had to do my 3500 2wd twice..
That was with the good joints with the zerks too.
Service truck with 300K on the meter.
