Hoosier 18372
Who has run the 18372? I am putting a set on a S-10 extended cab, 2480lbs on the starting line, 4 link, 4.86, 1.80 low and a tight 8" convertor. Motor makes 980 on Wilson's Dyno so should run 5. teens.
If you can tell me about your combination and how much air pressure you are running that would be great.

I've had a set of Hoosier 18372's on my 2200 # S/G Roadster with a 1.80 low gear and a 4.29 rear gear. I have a 582 using a Select 9 inch converter. Great tire but if you plan on using rim skrews get ready for a real battle, the bead is thick and tougher than the gates of HeII. I normally run them between 6.75 and 7.25 depending on track conditions and shock settings.

I see that tire is a C06 compound. Does this work well on hot tracks?

I just ordered a set of these from Chris Barker. Jumped on here to search a good psi starting point and found this thread.

Going on a 2870 lb. door car that 60 fts 1.19 and runs 5.40s 5.50s. I guess going off of what Brute Torque is running 8-9 PSI?

Bad thing is I don't have bead locks and was planning on using rims screws but from what RPROGAS says that might not be so easy.... Frown

Forget the rim screws, just mount them dry and stage it

I know they are useless Ed. But the dang holes are already there from way back when. I just put the screws in to fill the holes.

Which sounds like might be a problem now.

I run these on a vega. 2750lb. 4.30 gear. Converter flashes 6300 runs 5.40's 950hp. Run 9 to 9.75 psi. Rim screws kinda sucked but not too bad.
