I just bought a used Ford 8" Detroit Locker 28 spline. Does anyone know how to disassemble and inspect, and overhaul this unit. Or where I can find the information. It appears to be an Eaton 68289 going by the pictures in the Summit catalog. It is an old unit but I don't know how old it is. It had 4.60 gears in it.
