Anyone recommend one that’s an easy install so I don’t have to take my body panels off everytime I make a change to my Racepack?

Id probably do it with a db9 bulkhead vs USB. If you need to take panels off to plug in I'll assume you need to do the same to get the SD card? Maybe relocate the racepak to make things easier?

Race Wire Solutions has a really nice billet option. I have one I plan to install when I wire my car to access my Fueltech without having to remove any panels or create access doors.

I used this type A Female to Female Panel Mount Receptacle for my pass through from Amazon.

This would be my choice for racepak so you don't have to have a serial to USB adapter in the car.

Do they make one in female USB?

I think I have almost as much fun with my data recorder and trying to make my car better all the time as I do winning races.

I know many winning racers who don't even use weather stations. It doesn't have to come to this. Nobody forces anyone else to do what they do. All data recorders will be kept off your lawn. LOL
