SpeierRacingHeads23º goal close...
So I'm close to accomplishing something I have been working real hard towards. Some thought is was impossible. My goal was to have a customer AVEAGE 800hp through the curve with a 23º cylinder head. We got close! 798 Average HP from 63-8000 rpm.
Build details:
827 hp at 7600
621.8 tq at 6300
798 avg hp
588 avg tq
6300-8000 rpm
438 cid
Dart Little M2 block
4.175 bore
4.000 stroke
15.8 compression
CP Piston
1.00mm, 1.00mm, 2.00mm ring package
.391 Raised Cam
BBC Cam Core
.904 BAM Lifters
23 deg Profiler 3.0V by Speier Racing Heads
Edelbrock manifold
LRC 2.25 blade carb
APD BLACK WIDOW SPACER
1 3/4" - 1 7/8" Headers
3 1/2" collectors
Star Vacuum Pump
VP Q16 fuel
This engine is not for everyone. It's built to go round after round. I just sent a set to Bill Ceralli, so excited to see what he can do with them!

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

Absolutely, With good crankshafts we have now and good heads to feed them no reason not to go with more cubic inches in my opinion.

You know, I was just thinking if I ever decide to stroke my LS3 to a 416, makes me wonder if my 1-7/8" headers would support 700-750hp and I think this proves it!
