I have a nice set of Victor Series Drag Race Header Edelbrock 6551 Big Block Chevy Dragsters 304 Stainless Steel, Down Swept -2.375 in. Stepped Up To 2.5 in. - 5 in. Slip-On Merge Collector that I need to clean up the discoloration, etc. before putting them up for sale, since we have switched to Zoomies on out ProCharger TD.

Any recommendations?

Go to dollar store and by 3-4 bottles of toilet bowl cleaner. Coat entire header with toilet bowl cleaner and let set for 1-2 minutes. Rinse. Then polish with your favorite polish. I use a power ball and whatever polish i have laying around. I normally use 2 bottles per header to get all the coloring and burned oil stains out of header.

I have never tried the toilet bowl cleaner but after you get them clean, the Purple Metal Polish but California Custom & a Mother Power Cone in an electric drill work great.

When using toilet bowl cleaner, the metal becomes MUCH easier to polish.
