Can someone tell me if they make a kit, or what type of filter yall use for those of yall that have a hose connecting your vent tubes. I know some just cut a slit at the top. Thanks for any suggestions. Michael Frizie ET 2471

I use two spark plug boots and a piece of stainless tubing with holes drilled in it. Why? Cause I think it looks cool. Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right. Here I am.......

What Mr. Cash is describing was known as a "whistle" by a racer named "Tuner" on speed talk forum. They are easily built by doing as he describes. I think they work well and see no downside. The idea is to vent the bowl without inducing turbulence. In reference to a filter on the carb vents, I have never seen such except that a full-size engine air filter would serve the purpose. And speaking of filters, I do think it is a good idea to filter the fuel cell/tank vent. This can be done with a simple, in-line fuel filter on the vent. I suggest at least a 3/8" [#6] line and filter. Larry Woodfin
