mikey, the police are coming to get you again but in the meantime, try to keep up with the adults in the room. Shut your mouth and open your eyes and ears, my Penske shocks are gas filled and have never leaked, never been recharged.

Edward, no they're not otherwise you'd be carrying around a guage other than the one you use to set your sons tires LoL!.

Everyone in the biz knows Penske leaks because it's a high pressure system.

Stick with setting air pressure and ordering turn key engines on the phone.

Edward you have a $900 Penske hydraulic, you've confirmed that by saying you've never added gas.

Everyone in the biz knows you gotta add gas periodically with a Penske gas emulsion shock. That's why Quarter Max sells a guage and gas can.

Quit lying, stick to what you know ... setting tire pressure.

One of these options should be able to get the job done, and if you were happy with the way it was performing, I wouldnt want any "updated/new state of the art" shock.

I watched the quickest/fastest car on the property this past weekend, Travis Laster's procharged, 2019 Elite Chassis dragster aka Undercover swing arm car with 2 laid down Penske shocks, just like my car, hook on a 130 degree + track this weekend without issue! Saw him run as fast as 4.19 and as slow as 4.21.

I can't believe nobody else took a swing at this slowball down the middle:

What slick is Travis running? Asking for a friend... Big Grin

Get ahold of Shane at competitive suspension solutions. He can rebuild your old shocks or build you a new set. Excellent customer service and good turnaround.

In reference to that picture, what all is going on in the scoop? Is the scoop just for looks?

Pretty sure it charges the intake of supercharger & houses the pressure side to carb.

No, the scoop feeds air to the inlet of the blower then the blower feeds air to a hat inside the bottom of the scoop.

But you could just put a cone filter on the intake side of the blower and do away with the scoop all together.

Doesn't work so well, too much restriction.

My car is a 2007 Mullis single shock with 1250 hp. When I bought the car, I switched the worn out Afco to a Penske. It has gone 6.95 in summer heat at 1.011 60'. Penske told me if I went to a aluminum block I would have to adjust it or send it back. I did neither and it is still deadly consistent and fast...
