(opinion)FACT...racing season has started, they are also the #1 converter used in Stock/Super Stock, they also provide the trans and converter for every COPO built, they're busy, I'm sure.

(rumor)FACT...Few Super Stock cars 60 foot 1.17 no mind bracket door cars as mind does. I'll continue to run an ATI converter, deadly consistent and quicker/faster than the competition!

Fact...I only believe half of what you claim. Most of it is heresay, opinion and/or rumors.

We all can make **** up and call them facts too.

So according to him everyone is a liar except him. Right. We all know who the clueless loser idiot is.

When multiple people complain about poor service then there must be something there. Now I understand things may happen and some people are never happy but where there is smoke there is fire and there is a lot of smoke.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

Broken record^^^^^^^^^^^

Bruce has become the puppet master...just look at your responses every time he posts.

Your like a pre recorded message every time Bruce posts...

You can't deny ATI has had their own issues...

you see what you want, you're a hater.

He is the broken record and a loser with a POS and not a bracket racer.

That said, I can only speak of my experiences with ATI and their products over the past 25 years...OUTSTANDING performance and quality components from the innovator and best in the business for 55 years and counting.

I have received quality parts and service from Abruzzi for over 10 yrs...does not mean I have any legitimate excuses to call someone's equipment a POS or a loser for that matter if someone disagreed ...

C mon Ed, YOU could have more civil approach...its your CHOICE to be a chit head to many on this board with regularity.

You don't know the history, been going on with some long before you landed here.

It works both ways.

Fact is I have more knowledge and experience than many posting here and some, you included allow their ego's to be easily bruised.

I think a lot of times racers are just not realistic in their expectations. It is not reasonable to expect any successful busy shop to just drop everthing when you walk in with something that they probably arent going to make much money on. If you must be at a race every week or cant wait a few weeks for something then you should have spares for everything. If you need a new engine dont wait till feb to start on it. Your lack of preparation is the problem. Sometimes you might need to look at how you spend your budget. Maybe go a little slower but get some spares ready ahead of time. It will save alot of stress.

At my shop one of the items we make and sell is 12v centrifuges. When we receive units back for repair they are put in line with new orders if we don't have stock on the shelf. The repair time can vary depending on how many new orders are ahead of them. Right now it's a couple days. In 2014 when oil had spiked we had an average of 200 new units on order so wait times were extremely long. It happens when you have a good product. The more information you can give the customer about why it's going to take so long the better your relationship will be with them though.

Ed can speak of his experiences here with ATI as can everyone else. Yet Ed calls everyone with a bad experience a liar and all the Winners here Losers.
I think everyone here knows who is right and who the real loser is. Name calling others still does not get him past the first round but back booth.

1. post the quote where I called anyone in this thread a liar or STFU.

2. AGAIN LOSER, line up your POS with me anytime and I'll trailer you every time. You couldn't buy a round at my home track no mind turn the win light on against me with your pile of shyt and lack of skill and knowledge about bracket racing.

Who can wait 2-3 weeks to get one fixed when we race every weekend in this sport? It is not unrealistic to get one back the same week so you can go racing the next.

I have bought more than a couple converters, for myself, different car owners I drove for and customers. I was a loyal ATI customer and dealer for years until their customer service went down the ****ter.

For myself, I purchased 2 ATI 8" MRT that were supposed to be identical (I wanted a spare due to the above) The newer one was .06 slower in the 60ft than the original. I had them cut it open and they said it was perfect, but was still slower when I got it back. I had the original cut open twice. Both times it was broken, both times they told me there was nothing wrong with it. Both times, the car picked back up to normal after they serviced it.

When I drove a dragster, we rented the track and I swapped out 8 converters in one day from 5 different manufactures. The 2 from ATI were ran within .10 of each other. That was a long day and not fun at all. Put many laps on the car just to see what we had and to compare them to one another.

At my old job, we were a dealer for ATI for many years. They treated us like crap and didn't want our business so we took it elsewhere.

At the end of the day, I have dealt with quite a few manufacturers for my own cars and for customers. I tell you without any hesitation, ATI makes a great converter (and other parts) but there are other manufacturers that are better, more consistent and provide MUCH better service after the sale. I'm not the only person who feels this way.

^^^nothing to do with the OP's reason for posting.

FYI, I too have tested other converters in my former door car and ATI's 8" Treemaster converter was quicker and faster than Dynamic, B&M and BTE.

Further, my spare ATI 8" Treemaster converter runs within .02 of my primary converter but again, none of this has anything to do with the OP's shock that ATI didn't drop everything to fix his friend's converter within a day. Roll Eyes
