I have a ISKY Tool Room part# 9985 on exhaust - 660 lift

ISKY Tool Room part# 9995 on intake - 720 lift

When you do it like that, you'll have a full set on deck.

I see what you did there. Buy TWO sets and you will have one set as a spare.
What ever.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

I would call Brodix and tell them what you have, also ask about new push rods which ones?

Gotta do what ya gotta do.

I was lucky, a buddy I do engines and transmissions for, had the 9995 ISKY tool room springs sitting on his shelf, he said here you go, you can have em.

Worked out quite nicely. Smile

I do the same thing. Different rate springs on exhaust than intake.

I thought Larry was helping you? He knows what you need, did you not like his answers for your situation?

If you want a long lasting do it once valve spring, Comp ain't the hot ticket. If you're pinching pennies, they might work for a bit.

Why don't you work with one person you trust, Larry knows, he's been around lots of experience.

Or Banjo, he'll help ya I'm sure.

Or Bad News, PM him, he's probably more experienced than anyone in here. Just do what he suggests, you'll be done with it.

If this was my engine I would use a PAC 1243. I've had guys put 1000+ runs on them.

If you run a 2.000 install spring, tighten up the bind clearance, they will last longer.

Well that rules you out, this forum’s biggest liar!

That said, he needs to speak to someone that knows, a real engine builder like Big Speed.

Sorry guys, I trust Larry with anything as we have traveled the road together for years racing and telling lies. Larry is one of my closest friends and trusted advisors I recently ran across an old friend who is sold on the dual conical valve springs and thinks they have potential in my setup. Just some talking points more than anything.

By tha way Monte, remember, a story does not necessarily need to be true. Another friend says, "never let the truth stand in the way of a good story," And another says, "that is a true story, or at least it should be."

Monte and I have been all over D 4 racing and winning, lots of good times. He has a photo of the dash on my Duramax when it turned 250,000 miles with the Super 10 super stocker in tow.

Everyone you hate on in here is a liar according to you. That lie is losing its effectiveness, as a result of you telling it so often.

Yes Sir, and if it's a story or a modified version of a story we have heard before we just nod and smile.

OP-little chief, PAC R436 is the correct 10 degree titanium retainer for the PAC 1243 spring. Lane Automotive has em in stock.

If you go this route.
