HS professorLooking for a 40-48' gooseneck, what to avoid ??
Looking to buy a new or slightly used 40-48' gooseneck enclosed trailer. Obviously Gold Rush, T&E ,Intech and some others are the benchmark but all I want is a nicely built solid trailer that will last me 10-15 yrs. My current 2001 Pace has held up great and remarkably, my 2015 Haulmark has been great as well. I've been looking at living quarter trailers but I'm not happy with what I see or the pricing is nut's so I'm considering building one myself.
Any dealers preferably on the eastern side of the US that may stock something I may be interested in ?? I'm not looking for something cheap, and willing to spend realistic money I just want what I want.
What brands should I avoid ??

Larry WoodfinI have bought three trailers from Lance Brannon [L B Trailer sales]. All three were Vintage brand, all three custom-built per my needs, all performed and were equipped as expected.

Greg KelleyI have had goosenecks for 25 years and love them.
Current trailer is a 42' 2015 United. It's ok - better quality than my Vintaage goose, but not what it should be. I kind of think it's hit or miss on quality of anything other than the big 3 you mentioned above.
My Son has an InTech and it has lots of nice features but it's only a few years old so it'll be while to determine true durability.
I did look around for a long time looking for a used Gold Rush and couldn't quite find a match. In terms of pricing, longer goose Gold Rush units were way more reasonable than the worth-it's-weight-in-gold 26' tag. If I was going to do it again, I'd get a used Gold Rush and get it painted or whatever needed to meet my needs.

Thanks Larry, Vintage was my first choice, figured it was comparable to my Pace quality. Currently a YEAR AND A HALF wait for a custom build is simply ridiculous, and no guarantee on pricing !!!

Thanks Greg, that's kinda what I was looking for, a comparison. It's hard to believe with all the trailer builders out there only a half dozen build good trailers LOL
Anything Cargo out of the picture

SLICKSTEROne that should be on list of I think are good trailers is Gold Rush. Seem to be a trailer company that's been around for a long time.
