Front windshields..
I am torn on the new car which way to go with the front windshield. Was going to just use lexan again and have already purchased the material. But have been thinking about changing directions and putting in a stock front windshield, will just look better IMO. The mouldings will fit a glass one and make for a better finished look, and not really on a lexan one. Its just going into my new S/ST ride. I am already keeping the glass power side windows. Just curious what other think.

I'd go with the O.E. glass, just for the durability and optic quality.

I’m building a 77 camaro for brackets and s/st. I was really surprised at how light the oem windshield and back window was upon removing. Plan now is glass replacement and to upgrade the non power door windows to power.

Yeah the "chip factor" is hi for sure. Ill be lucky if this new ride is under 3150lbs now so figured may as well just put glass back in it.

Regan you never told me building a truck would be so heavy Big Grin

Please explain the power lexan windows.. I have lexan side windows in our camaro (fiberglass doors) and I REALLY want to have a way to get them to move while driving around pits and sitting in the pits/staging lanes...

'86 S10- Stock windshield, clean it however and whenever you need to. Power side windows because I an OLD and I like a nice 70 mph breeze after shutdown and all open on return road on hot summer days.

Al you will be lighter than me. If it's already ridiculous you just throw more power at it.
