Edelbrock 2897 vs Holley sheet metal Sniper......experience with the 2? Thoughts in general? 582" 24* heads 1250 carb With a Dart manifold.... launch 4500rpm shift & trap @ 700rpm 7.35 185 launch 4800rpm shift & trap @ 7400 7.teens 189 I was all set on the 2897 then seen one of the Sniper manifolds and it LOOKS like it would be so much better then the Eddy.. . Interesting. I see none for a 10.2.Wonder how much material is there on the flange for a match port. Don't want to get into the runner. Like on my 385's. It's massive. I know on my SV632. It has plenty to work with.Working with the 1275 gasket, i have to shave the sides a bit. Clean up the overhang. Like this big. ![]() I picked this one up 5 years ago at the divisional. Could never to get it to work. It has some serious epoxy mods inside.Found out runner volume is wrong. Home made deal.Collecting dust now. ![]() | |||

The Sniper manifold looks like it got some short runners, don’t know how that would affect it. | |||
