I've finally ran out of some really good thick 9" gaskets I bought a pack of 25 years ago....I can not find thick ones anywhere...they're all ****ty paper thin like around .020-.025 thick...the ones I had were .050 thick.....What are you guys using for a decent quality piece now??

Tried a Phord dealer?
The gasket is supposed to end up a specific thickness, (like .031"?) when crushed, so the axles are perfectly aligned with the center section, when installed.

Strange shows #H1111S, which is a steel core, rubber-coated, .045 thick, reusable. I have not tried that gasket; however, it looks like a good idea. Much better than the half-tube of sealer and resulting cleanup.
