B KINGTBM Brakes
I'm updating my front brakes on the Camaro. Our Aerospace Components front brakes are old & outdated. They were still stopping well but wanted to try the newer style brakes.
I was looking at the Strange Evolution 4 brakes & the TBMs. While the Strange brakes were cheaper by about $400. I decided to go with the TBMs below.

I hope so for the price! Should be an upgrade over the Aerospace Components brakes.
I really wanted the same brakes on all 4 corners to match but not going to happen. When I bought my Moser Fab 9" rear, I bought their brake kit installed; Moser doesn't sell front brake kits.
I guess I could spend more coin & put TBMs on the rear. I'm happy with the Moser rear brakes & they're not that old.

markemarkTBM are an excellent choice. Even MW is offering them now.
I want to update the stock OEM fronts on my 3rd gen with TBM when I can justify/ afford it. The stock front OEM single piston caliper I have now is the equivalent to the two piston TBM front model in piston area. My question is what determines the change to four piston front calipers from the two piston model?

I'm unsure but if I had to guess, vehicle weight.

ski_dwn_itBeen running them for last 2 years - had to make my own mounting brackets because they did not offer them for the front of my vette. They are very nice and release instantly. Virtually zero drag.

DragRaceResultsJust a reminder, we're a TBM dealer and keep brake pads and complete sets in stock, in which we don't charge sales tax unlike the manufacturer.
Happy New Year!

I remembered & checked your website first. I didn't see my application listed. You stated some time ago if you see it listed it's in stock, I didn't see it listed.

B KINGNot happy with my TBM brakes so far!
Missing caliper bracket mounting hardware, had to go to the hardware store to buy. The instructions show different hardware than needed.
Shimming the caliper bracket to center up the caliper on the rotor. Will not center up because the rotor to hub hardware hits on caliper bracket.
I called them about the missing hardware/wrong instructions & shimming the caliper bracket. They could have cared less about the missing hardware/instructions. They were helpful on the shimming. They didn't know about rotor to hub hardware hitting on the caliper bracket; it was after they closed when I ran into the issue. I'll call them in the morning about the issue. I found some hardware that will provide additional clearance; will wait to see what they say.
I understand the shimming part of the brakes. What bothers me is the missing hardware & the wrong instructions part. He blew it off like no big deal. We pay a premium price for these brakes & everything should be right.

Do you have front brackets for a C4 corvette? I had to make my own and they work fine. I offered them the dimensions and they said they had them in the works. Curious if they got them. Mine a bit larger than I suspect and it makes getting my coil over shocks a bit hard to get in and out but doable. Then again first time I had the coil overs out in 8 years

B KINGI got a hold of some director of something we got it all worked out. Some of it was on me & some on them. They're going to fix/correct the directions, apparently there was a caliper bracket change. As for the missing caliper bracket hardware he apologized. My caliper was already tapped for 3/8-16, there hardware comes with 3/8-24 so it wouldn't have worked if they would have sent it.
