What rpm do you launch,flash,shift and trap?
Just curious, as I own a set of never run OTB heads from 2001 sitting in the garage. I'd be limited to 383" unless I buy a block to go 400+. The 350 block needs a new rotating assembly so that's a wash, but wish I bought a aftermarket block years ago when cheaper and available.
Not looking to go 5's, but what does it pay to go 5's and who pays? Is it a check or cash?

It does not pay anything except, what's the word I'm looking for.... Gratification.

banjo gave me the idea, I saw he went 6.01 and I said to myself, damn that's fast 23 sbc factory condition small tire car around 3200 lbs, Nova just like mine.
Once I did it I was over it. The car isn't legal for it, so I wanted to do it right away and be done with it.
It was a 6200 converter flash at the hit, I'd leave 4600, converter would drop to 6400 on the shift at 7200. Cross 7450 with the converter slipping 4-5%.
Personal goal is all.
