Or a used diesel. But they get bought every day.

Hey, here`s an update, I love my diesel. I just paid 3.67 a gallon. I see gas in some area`s cost more than diesel.

Diesel is $.50 more than regular, and a guy that drove his last truck 35,000 miles in 20 years needs a diesel.
Got it. Roll Eyes

My only complaint is that I cannot hear the exhaust, probably going to get the muffler removed, and replaced with a straight pipe.

Can't find the sweet spot in the RPM range if you can't hear it.

goob- just wants to hear that 400 cube LS bark Cool

60k is too much for a dually? 1/2 tons are not far off that price lol

2000 mile check in....
96 mile run to the track Saturday at 9.2 MPG.
Of course, it's downhill all the way from home, knocked me back to 8.6 on the trip home, same road, same speed. Confused
About 400 feet elevation difference between home and track.

Just figured out that when using the hitch camera, it automatically sets the parking brake when you select park, so you can let the trailer down on the ball. Way cool! Eek

I chuckle about walking away from a LOADED 2002 Duramax truck for $28K in 2002, because "I ain't never paying almost $30K for no pickup truck!" Laughing Hard

Never say never.

Sounds like the truck is doing you very well!

I just returned from racing in CA & averaged 9.0 MPG for a 500-mile round trip.

yup a lot of guys complain about MPG but then if you put the pen to the paper, you come out ahead unless you're towing big loads 8+ hours a day 5 days a week. Even then it ain't that much different.

It ain’t about MPG it’s about TORQUE to pull those “big loads”. Only that clueless buy a gasoline engine dually for pulling a trailer!

and more important you can pull your trailer anywhere with ease as does my SRW 3500 with the duramax diesel does pulling 15,000 lbs.

You may want to measure that little storage unit you rent....everything looks big when you're only 4'-11"
