I have a 3200 nova and put a new 555 in it . I got a Chris Strub camshaft, promaxx heads, 1050 dominator ,6000 stall on 31x 13 slicks. Only put mabye 12 pass's on it at the end of the season. Best time 5.76 when it was cool. The worsrt time was 5.94. ran 5.87,5.88 several times. My Question is that about what is should run? or is it a little slow. Just want some feedback. Thanks

Good questions. We need the mph & 60ft too, in order to get to the meat and potatoes of the matter.

True but 70's at that weight isn't bad.

Very true BUT nearly two tenths is a lot of difference because of conditions.

Sounds tight, let me do math.

Yeah it's too tight 3-4% at stripe.

That's why it picks up so much in cool air (power) loosens converter.

6-7-8% typically is pretty good 1/8 mile (consistency too), what tire?
