Does anyone have experience with this pump? Will it [15-pound style] pull fuel properly from a rear mounted cell in a 6.30's 1/8 mile drag car? [methanol fuel]

So the pump is listed at 200gph that would support right around 600hp so I guess it really depends on what the weight of your 6.30 car will be.

I can tell you this I have three door cars with belt drive rear cell setups. Once you have the line primed all three cars gravity feed like crazy with a -10 line. We've gone 5.80/9.20s at 2700lbs with no trouble.

Edit two cars filter before the pump and one filters after the pump.

I'm glad you posted this, I am replacing my 25 year old block mount Holley and was looking for these. They used to be sold as the CV Products "6 valve" pump. I have an old Alky version.
I'm going to be ordering the 7.5 p.s.i. to have on hand.
Already bought the Edelbrock version to replace the vintage Holley.
The new Edelbrock looks like the vintage Holley, and the new Holley offering looks like a cheap Chinese knock off....

Goob,

I plan to try one. Since I will be running Methanol at about 575 horse, I will do the 15-pound style with bypass regulator. Also, with a roller cam, did you run the bronze tip pushrod?

I actually have a roller pump pushrod.
Manley maybe? But yes on the Bronze tip as well.

Edit:
Comp Cams 4609, listed not available at Summit right now.

Also showing out of stock on the Comp Cams website. ???
