Years back I remember being told to use a graphite pencil on he threads of spark plugs as antisieze.

I found also where NGK stated no antiseize is needed with their plugs. New plugs going in for next race, putting them in without antiseize. Smile

If I use anything, I use this below. I don't coat all the threads. It's a paste and not liquid.

It's not messy at all.
