Looks like you've taken on that job, typically I don't bring it up.
I feel for bad Bradenton, I mean think about it, how would you like to be the only drag strip in the country who can't say publicly why you put a guy back in a race and in the final round, who was already loaded up declared loser?
I'm actually trying to help them. Two years still no explanation why they put a guy back in the race, they declared loser 45 minutes earlier.
That's a heavy burden to carry for Bradenton. Can't explain putting a car back in a race? Nobody has ever heard of this happening before. I feel bad for them.
Who was the other guy in the final? and are you saying they made him wait 45 minutes after his last round, THEN waited for Jon to unload, refuel and warm up? I would have been in the water box within 15 minutes of getting to my trailer for the final. So, your saying they held the final off for about an hour? I don't believe it, tell me the guy Jon ran and I want to ask him myself. What did Jon have to say about all this? Man, the more I read about this the more intriguing it becomes, I think it's time to get out the shovel, the piles getting huge.

Wild Wild West 2Maybe I should ask this question in its own thread, but it seems every thread has this subject so here goes.
This may have been stated somewhere else, but I've not seen it, so.......
Mike - after you won the round against the wagon in the picture, did the track personnel have to go out onto the track and replace or adjust the timing block before anyone else could go down the track ? If they had to replace it, was it because it was moved from the original position or damaged in some way? If it was moved from the original position, where did it get moved to ? As in, was it found to be in the wagon's lane (right lane) ?
Again, I may have missed the answers to these questions in some other post. Sorry for making you repeat your answers.

According to track official Peter Conry's explanation for putting Siegel back in the race 45 minutes after Siegel was ruled loser, the finish line foam block is bouncing down the track in front of the Ripper Nova.
See it? This is why Bradenton Motorsports Park officials can't give a clarification for putting Siegel back in the race.
It's self evident the Ripper Nova won the race handily. With ease.
